Toyota Now Loves Saatchi & Saatchi in Finland Too

01 SEP 2009

Turku - Toyota Auto Finland and Lahtinen & Mantere Saatchi & Saatchi have signed a contract of co-operation which brings responsibility for Toyota and Lexus communications into the agency.  The assignment covers both above and below the line communicationLahtinen & Mantere Saatchi & Saatchi MD, Sam Hansén, from websites and prints to TV spots and dealer materials.

“We’ve got our hands on an impressive steering wheel. Toyota is the biggest car manufacturer in the world, one of the most important clients of Saatchi & Saatchi and the most registered new car in Finland for 11 years in a row,” Sam Hansén, managing director of Lahtinen & Mantere Saatchi & Saatchi, sums up. “Getting Toyota to our fleet has taken years of hard work from both us and the Saatchi & Saatchi EMEA team, and we’ve extremely happy of the outcome of the negotiations. This is a fine result of a “One dream, one team” way of thinking. Our special thanks to Simon Francis and Guiseppe Caiazza and their teams for support and inspiration.”

In the times of global and local recession, Lahtinen & Mantere Saatchi & Saatchi is one of the few offices in Finland that can tell good news about growth and recruiting people. The new account will employ several people in our two offices in Helsinki and Turku. “And we’ve got a whole new team of 6 people with years of experience that will be in charge of Toyota,” Sam says. “They’ve already started their work and the first executions have been published. Now we’ll just rev up and steer Toyota on its way to a loved Lovemark.”
