Dina Howell
Passionate
and convinced of the ability of exceptional Shopper Marketing to grow and
enhance any brand or business, Dina is frequently cited by the Wall Street
Journal, Advertising Age, Shopper Marketing magazine and other leading
publications, as the industry expert and leader in the Shopper Marketing arena. Enhancing her skills and knowledge base
of the Shopper and how best to engage them during her 22 years of experience
and practical application working with Procter & Gamble, Dina is recognized
as a global resource for insights into the connectivity between the Shopper,
the brand, the business and often the retailer.
Dina
was named as Worldwide CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi X upon her retirement as
Vice-President, Global Media and Brand Operations for Procter & Gamble in
December 2010. Some of Saatchi
& Saatchi X's key clients include Diageo, Frito-Lay, Procter & Gamble,
Walmart and Wendy's.
Honored
numerous times for her contributions to Shopper Marketing, Dina has been
recognized twice as "Who's Who in Shopper Marketing" (2009, 2010), Advertising
Age Women to Watch (2004), and by POP (Point of Purchase) Hall of Fame (2006).
In addition, Saatchi and Saatchi X won 2011 exclusive Gold and Bronze Effie
Awards for Shopper Marketing, the first year the category has been recognized.
Our
Shoppers live in communities and enhancing their quality of life is critical to
Dina in her philanthropic work as well.
She is an avid developer of leaders with her involvement in global
education initiatives through the Center for Retailing Excellence Executive
Board at the University of Arkansas.
In addition, she serves on the global executive boards for Give Kids the
World Foundation and the Heart of America Foundation.
Dina
and her husband have two children and reside in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
