AWARDS 

Because of the quality of our ideas, our Network has always been a prolific award-winner. Ever since our inception in 1970. In the last five years alone we’ve won close to 4,000 awards. Here are some of the awards and recognition we've received recently.

CANNES INTERNATIONAL ADVERTISING FESTIVAL 2009

  • Saatchi & Saatchi won a total of 25 Lions – 5 Gold, 8 Silver and 12 Bronze.

  • T-Mobile ‘Dance’ from Saatchi & Saatchi London won a total of 6 Lions.  Cyber (Silver), Direct (Gold), Film (Gold & Bronze), Media (Silver) and Titanium & Integrated (Bronze). London was the most awarded Saatchi & Saatchi office.

  • Other Golds went to Australia for Pedestrian Council of Australia, Team One for Lexus and New York for Miller High Life. 

  • Antonio Di Battista, Copywriter Saatchi & Saatchi Italy, won a Gold Lion in the Cyber Young Lions competition.

CLIO AWARDS 2009

  • At the 2009 Clio Awards, Saatchi & Saatchi picked up 19 awards.

  • New York was the most awarded Saatchi & Saatchi office picking up 3 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze awards for clients including Procter & Gamble, JCPenney and General Mills.

  • Saatchi & Saatchi Argentina, Malaysia and London also picked up awards. 

  • At the Clio Healthcare Awards, Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness New York won the Grand Clio and one of only two Gold Clios handed out for their ‘Silence Your Rooster' campaign for Sanofi-Aventis Ambien CR.

NETWORK / AGENCY OF THE YEAR 2009

  • Badillo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi Puerto Rico was named Agency of the Year at the local festival, Cúspide, which is sponsored by Puerto Rico's Advertising Agency Association. Our office has now won four times out of the seven years that Cúspide as presented an Agency of the Year award.

  • Saatchi & Saatchi was named Network of the Year at the Golden Hammer International Advertising Festival.

  • Saatchi & Saatchi DGS New Zealand was named Direct and Interactive Agency of the Year at the Fairfax AdMedia Awards.

  • Saatchi & Saatchi New York was named Agency of the Year by the Art Directors Club of New York.

OTHER SIGNIFICANT AWARDS AND SUCCESSES 2009

  • The Gunn Report: Six Saatchi & Saatchi agencies feature in the 2009 Gunn Report - Australia, Argentina, London, Malaysia, New York and Romania.  As a network, Saatchi & Saatchi ranked 5th.  Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi were ranked 5th Most Awarded Agency in the World, with Saatchi & Saatchi New York ranked just behind in 6th position.  The ‘Children Do' campaign for Hospital Aleman was named the 4th Most Awarded Print Campaign in the World 2009, and the 'Duets' campaign for Norte Beer was named the 5th Most Awarded TV Campaign in the World 2009.  Both campaigns were from Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi.

  • C/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi Guatemala was awarded a Gold Effie at the Guatemalan Effie Awards.

  • Conill was the most awarded US agency at the FIAP Awards winning 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze awards.

  • Badillo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi Puerto Rico was the most awarded Puerto Rican agency at the FIAP Awards winning 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze awards.

  • Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi Argentina was the most awarded Argentinean agency at the FIAP Awards winning a total of 14 awards, including 5 awards for Hospital Aléman (including the Grand Prix in Print) which led to the client being named Advertiser of the Year.

  • In Adlatina's Crema Rankings Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi Argentina was ranked 2nd.

  • Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi won a Gold Effie for their "United Neighbours" campaign for BGH Energy Efficient Air Conditioners.

  • Lonsdale Saatchi & Saatchi Trinidad took home 4 of the 5 'Best' awards at the Caribbean Advertising Federation stage of the ADDY Awards.  In total they won 9 Gold and 16 Silver awards, making them the most successful agency.

  • At the 2009 Golden Nail Awards MUW Saatchi & Saatchi Slovakia was awarded the Grand Prix for their 'Messages' campaign for T-Mobile.  This is the 5th time in the last 6 competitions that MUW Saatchi & Saatchi has topped the awards table as the most creative agency, winning 17 awards out of a possible 43.  Also, their client Kooperativa was named Client of the Year.

  • MUW Saatchi & Saatchi Slovakia was awarded a Golden Effie for their T-Mobile 'Web n Walk' campaign.

  • At the recent Golden Drum awards, Saatchi & Saatchi was ranked 3rd Agency Network, and MUW Saatchi & Saatchi Slovakia was 3rd in the Agency of the Year rankings.

  • United Nations 'Voices' from Saatchi & Saatchi Australia won Silver at D&AD in the mobile marketing category.

  • Saatchi & Saatchi Australia was awarded a Bronze Effie in the long term effects category at the Advertising Federation of Australia Effie Awards.  Spanning 4 years, their campaign for Australian Egg Corporation Limited - Cooking Up a Storm - grew egg consumption from 142 to 180 per person per annum.

  • The European final of the Newspaper Association's Best Yet Awards for young European creative teams took place in London, and was attended by teams from all over Europe.  Competitors were asked to create a newspaper ad for an association called Room to Read.  Ross McCurrach and Arnaud Bailly from Saatchi & Saatchi Belgium were named The Best Young Creative Team in Europe. 

  • Saatchi & Saatchi Denmark dominated Creative Circle's list of Denmark's top 50 creatives with Simon Wooller at No. 1, Rasmus Petersen No. 3, Lasse Baekbo Hinke No. 4, Silas Jansson No. 15, Cliff Kagawa Holm No. 16 and Kristian Ailertsen No. 20.

  • At the Asian Advertising Festival, Spikes Asia, Saatchi & Saatchi Malaysia was ranked 2nd in the Agency of the Year rankings.

  • Saatchi & Saatchi Netherlands was awarded a Bronze Effie for their 30 Degrees campaign for Procter & Gamble Ariel.

  • JCPenney 'Doghouse' from Saatchi & Saatchi New York won The World Retail Award in the Retail Advertising Digital category.

  • Saatchi & Saatchi New York was ranked 3rd in Creativity Magazine's 'Award Report'.  Chief Creative Officer, Gerry Graf, was also ranked the 3rd most awarded Creative Director.  The 'Award Report' takes into account awards won at Art Directors Club, AICP, ANDY Awards, Cannes, Clios, D&AD and One Show.

  • At the Axis Awards Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand won 5 Gold, 10 Silver and 7 Bronze awards, making them one of the most successful agencies on the night, ranked only behind Colenso BBDO.

  • Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand walked away with 6 Effies at the CAANZ Effie Awards, including 2 Silver Effies for Telecom NZ and Wespac.

  • Saatchi & Saatchi X (UK) won more awards then any other agency at the annual MCCA Awards.

  • The 29th Annual Northwest Arkansas Advertising Federation ADDY Awards proved a great success for Saatchi & Saatchi X (USA).  They came home with more awards then any other agency, seven in all, including Best of Show and Best of Print.

  • Paula Sutil, CEO of Sutil Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, was named one of Chile's top 100 women leaders by the country's leading daily newspaper, El Mercurio.
