F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi managing partner, Ivan Marques, was chosen as Advertising Agency Executive of the Year  by ABP – the Brazilian Advertising Association – in the 2009 Communication Highlights Award.

Other nominees in the category included José Eustachio from Talent Propaganda, and José Henrique Borghi from BorghiErh/Lowe.

The award ceremony, held on November 30th at Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, paid tribute to Brazil’s most outstanding communication industry professionals of the past year.

After extensive consultation with the market, the association pre-selects three names in each category.  Award winners in the 20 categories are then chosen by direct voting of its members via the internet.

Founded in 1937, ABP is the oldest association of the Brazilian advertising industry, and has been making these awards since 1943.
