Jonathan Grundy Leaves Saatchi & Saatchi Italy

22 DEC 2009

Jonathan Grundy, Joint CEO, Saatchi & Saatchi ItalyMilan - After a year of great success for the agency with significant new business wins, creative accolades and a strong financial performance, Saatchi & Saatchi has announced Jonathan Grundy’s return to the United Kingdom.

Jonathan, joint CEO with Fabrizio Caprara, will be leaving the Italian Agency and his adopted country, after a stellar 28 years with Saatchi & Saatchi, to return home for personal reasons.

Jonathan Grundy said: “After seven years of commuting from the UK I think it is time to see a little less of airport lounges. It is difficult to comment on a lifetime in Saatchi & Saatchi other than say an enormous “well done” to our people in Italy for having built one of the most successful agencies in the network and for yet another great year, and a heartfelt thank you to Fabrizio with whom the journey has been truly fantastic.”

Fabrizio Caprara said: “Jon has been an exceptional fellow-traveller and an invaluable source of inspiration for the whole agency and for me personally. We will continue to drive forward our Italian operations, delivering compelling content solutions that bring our clients closer to Lovemarks status.”

Saatchi & Saatchi in Italy operates with two offices: one in Milan and one in Rome. Its clients include Enel, Autostrade per l’Italia, Intesa Sanpaolo, Alpitour, Carrefour, Ferrero, Procter & Gamble, Giorgio Armani, Averna and Telecom.
