Saatchi & Saatchi Latin America tops FIAP 2011

Miami -
Saatchi & Saatchi was the top-ranked creative network at the 42nd annual Festival Iberoamericano De La Publicidad (FIAP) held April 12-15 in Buenos Aires.

The network's stellar creative performance was led Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi in Argentina,  which was the highest-ranked agency at the creative competition earning 3 gold, 8 silver, 9 bronze and 7 finalist honors in multiple categories for clients such as Sony PlayStation, Andes Beer and BGH Air Conditioners. F / Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi in Brazil ranked third overall, earning Grand Prix honors for its work for Nike and Café Suplicy.

Conill, Saatchi & Saatchi's U.S. Hispanic market agency, earned 4 silver and 2 finalist honors for efforts on Toyota, Sony PlayStation and the Consulate General of Argentina.  It was the top-ranked U.S.-based shop at the festival for the second time in three years.

"While the creative bar has always been high, communications across the region is becoming more sophisticated with each passing day," said Saatchi & Saatchi Latin America President Cynthia McFarlane. "It's based on deeper consumer insight and connects with people on multiple levels. I'm incredibly proud of our performance as a network and look forward to more great things as we expand our footprint in the region."

FIAP is the largest advertising awards festival in Latin America. Judges review entries submitted by agencies throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, Portugal and the U.S. Hispanic market.
