Top Management Role Changes for Saatchi & Saatchi Italy

Milan - Simon Francis, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi EMEA and President of the Board of Directors of Saatchi & Saatchi Italy is delighted to make the following announcement:
"Effective November 1st 2010, Giuseppe Caiazza is appointed Chief Executive Officer of Saatchi & Saatchi Italy, on top of his European role of Managing Director for the Automotive Business within Saatchi & Saatchi EMEA."
Giuseppe will pass on his current role of Chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi Italy to Fabrizio Caprara, currently Chief Executive Officer. Both will report into Simon Francis, who commented:
"I am very happy for Giuseppe to take on the CEO role in Italy, after having inspired the Team, as the Chairman, to design the business strategy for the next 5 years. I am sure he will be able to implement it with the same focus, drive and results he achieved with the European Automotive Business, which, therefore, will remain under his responsibility.
"I am also extremely glad that he will be supported by Fabrizio, whose long serving experience with Saatchi & Saatchi Italy will represent an invaluable asset for Giuseppe and for the Italian Team.

Fabrizio Caprara
He graduated in Economics with a thesis on Advertising Agencies and joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 1981. In 1986 he joined the New Business Department of which he became Director at the beginning of 1987.
After two years in Saatchi & Saatchi London as European New Business Director he returned to Italy as Deputy General Manager of the Milan office.
In 1994 he was nominated General Manager, with specific responsibility of New Business.
In 2007 he became CEO of the Italian Agency.
Giuseppe Caiazza
Giuseppe graduated in Economics at the Bocconi University of Milan, then followed the Executive Development Programs at both the Wharton Business School in Pennsylvania, and the IMD in Lausanne.
A global citizen who built half of his career abroad, he began his career in Club Med, which he left as Country Manager of the Argentina branch, after having long been the Marketing Director in Italy. He then switched to the Ford Motor Company, where he began as Director of External Relations in Italy before moving to the European Headquarters in London as the Senior Product Marketing Manager.
In 2005 he was appointed General Manager, Marketing & Communications for Toyota Motor Europe. He has been with Saatchi & Saatchi since 2008, initially as Managing Director for Europe Automotive Business, a position which he still maintains and which, from the beginning of 2010, combines with that of President of Saatchi & Saatchi Italy.
In November 2010 he becomes CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Italy.
Giuseppe is married to Silvia and has two children, Martina and Gerardo.
Saatchi & Saatchi Italy has two offices, one in Milan and one in Rome. Amongst the main clients: Toyota, Enel, Procter & Gamble, Intesa Sanpaolo, Alpitour, Carrefour, Ferrero, Ospedade San Raffaele.
