How many awards have we won?
Since our inception in 1970, our Network has always been at the forefront of winning awards. In the last five years alone, we’ve won over 3,500 awards.
Awards and recognition in 2008
- Cannes International Advertising Festival 2008:
- Once again achieved our Network challenge to be in the top three in the world. We won 42 Lions – 3 Gold, 14 Silver and 25 Bronze – 9 more than in 2007.
- Won 5 Lions for Procter & Gamble, including our first Gold film Lion for the client, for Crest out of New York. This, in the year Procter & Gamble were named Advertiser of the Year at Cannes.
- Saatchi & Saatchi was the most awarded Network within Publicis Groupe
- 49th International Clio Awards 2008
- 24 Clios won – 3 Gold, 8 Silver, 13 Bronze.
- 8 Clios for Procter & Gamble - 2 Gold (Saatchi & Saatchi New York for Tide-To-Go-Stainpen, “The Interview” and Tide Ultra “Stains”) 1 Silver, 5 Bronze.
- Most awarded Publicis-owned network.
- Procter & Gamble Tide Ultra "Surrounding Stains" was the Report's most awarded print campaign in 2008.

Argentina - For the second consecutive year, Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi was awarded Agency of the Year at their major local award show Circulo de Creativos, with winning work for ImBev, Buenos Aires Zoo and Procter & Gamble.

Nigeria - Agency of the Year at the 2008 City People Awards for Excellence.

Poland – Agency of the Year for the third year running at KTR (Polish Advertising Festival) winning 8 awards, including 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze. 2 of the Gold awards were for the Procter & Gamble Ariel Color “Stained Glass Windows” campaign. The other 2 for P&G Ariel “Sterile Laundry Peg” and for Stoleczna Estrada “Chopin Funeral March”. The agency also won the Specialist Journalists Award for Procter & Gamble Ariel Color “Tree” campaign, which also won a Bronze Award.
- Puerto Rico – El Ojo de Iberoamérica named our Puerto Rico agency the most creative in Puerto Rico for the sixth consecutive year. They were also named Puerto Rico’s most creative agency for the fourth consecutive year in Adlantina’s CREMA annual register.

Singapore - Campaign Brief Asia Agency of the Year for 2007 (announced February 2008). Number 1 placing in Asia based on awards won in all of the major international and regional shows. A return to form for the Singapore agency.

Singapore – Agency if the Year at AdFest 2008. The Agency of the Year Award is based on the number of awards won.
- For the second year running Conill won the American Association of Advertising Agencies O’Toole Multicultural Award. This is the fourth time Conill has been honoured with this distinction. No other agency has won more than twice.

Saatchi & Saatchi X USA - A PUR Water Filter centrefold ad created by Saatchi & Saatchi X’s Springdale office for Procter & Gamble has been selected as a merit winner in the HOW International Design Awards competition. It was one of only 289 pieces selected to appear in the 2008 HOW International Design Annual out of over 4,000 submissions.

Saatchi & Saatchi X London– Creative Ant Melder won Best Copywriting in Direct Communications award at the Marketing Communications Consultants Association (MCCA). He created the idea for ‘Quit’ the anti-smoking campaign.

Saatchi & Saatchi New York – Their JC Penney “Every Day Matters” campaign was named “Marketing Campaign of the Year” at the prestigious World Retail Awards 2008 staged at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, Barcelona, during the annual World Retail Congress.
